We can’t see God, but we know He is with us.

Sunday School 1/18/26

Today we talked about how we can’t see God but we know He is with us. We can look around and see Him in the things He made. We can use our faith and stay connected to Him by praying and reading our bibles. We made pictures with lemon juice that we couldn’t see at first but knew it was there . We also wrote a little about our selves and plan on sending these papers to a Sunday school in Alaska. Hopefully we will hear back from them as penpals . Great morning as always.

God's Love is powerful

Sunday School 1/11/25

Today we talked about Gods power and how His love is powerful . We got to do our own experiments using ingredients representing our lives, sin and Jesus . Lots of great discussion and comments today by even the youngest kids . Someone said “ when Jesus is in your heart , it makes it big.” Another one said “ I am made by God.” Another one had her hand up for every single question. They are really paying attention. So proud of them all.

Genesis 9 Gods Covenant with Noah

Sunday School 1/4/26

Genesis 9: 8-11

Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: “I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 10 and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. 11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

Genesis 9 tells us that God told him to build an ark and take the animals inside of it .

After 40 days God put a rainbow 🌈 in the sky as a promise to never destroy the earth with water again . Our experiment today was to make our very own rainbow using skittles and hot water .

A fun morning !

I am fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14

Sunday School 12/28/25

Psalm 139:14 says : I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
Today we talked about how God made us all different but we are all wonderful in his eyes . We talked about snowflakes and how every single one of them are different. We used marshmallows and tooth picks to make our own unique snowflake.
Then we played some fun Christmas games and had a snowball fight in the Sunday school room. What a fun morning.
Have a very happy new year 🎈 everyone . We appreciate you checking in with us throughout the year ❀️ .

God gives us emotions like happiness and sweetness or anger and sourness

Lots of fun activities at Sunday school today.

After a yummy snack of donuts , we practiced our Thanksgiving songs for next Sunday . We hope you will come out at 9am and hear us sing.

Then a lesson on how God gives us emotions like happiness and sweetness or anger and sourness .

Proverbs 15:1 says “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger". We made silly faces in our mirrors to see what these emotions might look like.

Then we did an experiment that we were able to taste ( normally our experiments are a no taste no touch) using apples in vinegar and apples in cinnamon & sugar.

Some kids were even brave enough to try the apples in vinegar . A great morning was had by all.

Romans Chapter 3:23

Romans . Chapter 3:23Today we read from Romans . Chapter 3:23 says For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God".  We learned that even though we are sinners Jesus died for us.  We need to be Christ like and that is our Key to salvation .  Many great questions and discussions from our kids today .

Sunday School 11/2/25

What a fun lesson today . We read from our bibles from Matthew 7 that the man who builds his house on a rock is wise and the man who builds his house on the sand is foolish . Just like we need to build our lives on our rock “God .” God is our foundation. We all got to do our own experiments using sand and Lincoln logs , then rocks and Lincoln logs. When we poured water on the sand structure it fell . When we poured water on our rock structure it stood strong. Everyone had a blast while understanding we need to stand on Gods foundation for our lives.
