1 Thessalonians 5:11 says “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.” We started our night working together making our favorite pizzas. While the pizzas were in the oven Miss Laura told us all about her experience working in Alaska during the Iditarod race. She explained how working together as a team during the race is so important. We read some verses from the Bible about how Christians should work as a team to spread Gods word. Another great night for youth group.
Youth group tonight was small but fun. We made a dinner of tacos, spanish rice and nachos. We “taco’ed” about spreading Gods love then played a fierce game of uno. Love watching these teens smiling and interacting with each other .

Youth group 2026 started out with a bang !
10 teens came out to prepare a spaghetti and meatball dinner .
While the food was cooking we played a game of WWJD Jenga and talked about the Pasta-bilities of spreading Gods love .
Lots of smiles food and fellowship made a great night for all. (Sorry didn’t get a photo of the finished product - guess we were too busy eating).
We had to postpone our hayride and bonfire due to the weather, but we still managed to have a great time! After reflecting on Ecclesiastes 3:1, we spent the afternoon carving pumpkins and enjoying hotdogs cooked on an indoor grill. A total of seven teens joined us for the fun.
Mark your calendars for next month’s meeting on Monday, November 17th, at 6:30 PM.
We hope to see more kids from 7th grade through high school join us!
A big thank you to everyone who has helped get this group off the ground.
